The Evoluent Vertical Mouse 3 has a patented new shape that supports your hand in a relaxed handshake position, and eliminates the arm twisting required by ordinary mice. You'll appreciate the improved comfort and control. The grip is the same as an ordinary mouse, just turned sideways, and the buttons are operated by the same fingers. There is virtually no re-training necessary.

5 Button Programming: The Evoluent Vertical Mouse has 5 buttons which can be programmed with 59 selectable functions each.

Optical Technology: The optical sensor accurately tracks the movement of the mouse without a ball for improved reliability.

Precision Tracking: A high quality optical sensor tracks better than many wireless laser mouses so you don't waste time chasing the pointer. The 1200 dpi true hardware resolution moves the pointer more quickly to reduce hand movements.

Ultra-Slim Wireless Receiver: The compact USB receiver is slim enough to avoid blocking adjacent ports.

2.4 GigaHertz Wireless Receiver: Resistant to interference. Up to 30 foot range.

Long Battery Life: 3 month estimate battery life under typical use with non-chargeable AA batteries. The sensor never sleeps so pointer response is always instantaneous.

Prevents Desk Rubbing: A small lip on the bottom edge prevents the little finger from rubbing the desk.

Easy To Use Buttons: All 5 buttons are easily operable without contorting your fingers. The button force is light for easy clicking, but still firm enough to avoid accidental actuation.

Fits Multiple Hand Sizes: The well thoughtout and researched shape fits small to large hand sizes.

Programmable Buttons(XP Pro, XP Home, Vista 32): 5 buttons are each programmable with different functions in different applications. For example, a button can be Double Click in one application and Ctrl in another application.

    Special Functions (XP Pro, XP Home, Vista 32):

  • Auto click: automatically perform a single or double click by pausing the pointer. Adjustable time delay for activation.

  • Click lock: press and hold a button momentarily to simulate continued pressing without holding down the button. Adjustable time delay for activation.

  • Break Reminder: visual and/or audio alerts to remind you to take a break.

    System Compatibility:

    PC: Includes driver for Windows XP Pro, XP Home, and Vista 32 for programming all 5 buttons. The driver is not required. The VerticalMouse 3 still has basic functionality without it. USB only. Not compatible with PS2 or KVM switches.

    Mac: 2 buttons and a scroll wheel in OS X or newer without a driver. USB port.

    Unix: Not compatible.

    Linux: 5 buttons in XFree 4.0.1 or higher and Knoppix Linux 3.9 or higher without a driver: left click (top), right click (middle), middle click (bottom), middle click (wheel), right click (thumb). USB port for receiver.
